About the Author
Two books that shaped me as a reader and writer are Percy Jackson and The Cruel Prince series. Percy Jackson was everything to me as a kid. It made me feel seen in a way nothing else had, with its humor, adventure, and characters who weren’t perfect but still found where they belonged. It was the first time a book made me feel like I could be part of something bigger. Later, The Cruel Prince reignited my love for reading after I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. It reminded me why I love fantasy—the scheming, the morally gray characters, the tension woven into every interaction. Both series shaped the way I write: characters with bite, worlds that breathe, and relationships built on tension and trust (or the lack of it).
My latest project, Betwixt the Midnight Hour, is a deeply personal one. It’s a story that blends fantasy, prophecy, and self-discovery, creating a world where magic is as unpredictable as fate itself. Writing it has been both exhilarating and chaotic—from crafting intricate plot threads to figuring out what belongs in book one vs. book two (and leaving just the right amount of breadcrumbs along the way). I may have slightly overdone it in my first draft (hello, word count struggles), but hey, that’s what editing is for!
Beyond writing, I’m also a graphic designer and illustrator, which means I have way too much fun creating visuals for my characters and world. If I’m not writing, I’m probably sketching, reading, or getting lost in another fantasy story. And if you finish Betwixt the Midnight Hour and the first thing you think is, "Where’s book two?" —well, I’d consider that the highest compliment.
Books have always been more than just stories to me—they were my escape. Growing up, I couldn’t change my circumstances, but I could disappear into worlds filled with adventure, magic, and characters who made life feel a little more bearable. As cliché as it sounds, books saved me. And now, I want to create that same escape for others—for those who feel stuck, for those who need a place to belong, for those searching for something magical to hold onto.
I’ve been writing since I was a kid, and that passion has only grown stronger over the years. My love for storytelling is rooted in layered characters, intricate worlds, and the relationships that shape them. I adore stories that mix high stakes with deeply personal struggles—where found family, hidden truths, and destiny collide.
